An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Industrial Placement Student to join our team at Cowick Hall, East Yorkshire for 12 months from August 2025. The successful candidate will work on analytical research and development projects working alongside our Functional Ingredients Synthesis team. The role will involve the development of new spectroscopic and chromatographic test methods to use in the screening of our new products as well as data generation and interpretation. Duties will involve practical analytical laboratory work, equipment maintenance and report writing. The project work carried out during the placement will be of sufficient academic complexity to meet the requirements of a university industrial placement degree course. You will need to be a self-motivated individual with the ability to manage and plan your own workload. Team work, attention to detail and good problem analysis skills are essential for this role. You will have an A Level in Chemistry and be working towards a 2.1 in a Chemistry/Cosmetic Science/Biochemistry or related degree.
