Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Data Engineer with current DV clearance to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-based data solutions within Microsoft Azure environments. You will work closely with data architects, analysts, and developers to ensure data solutions meet business needs, security requirements, and are aligned with best practices. Key Responsibilities: Data Solution Design: Develop, manage, and optimize data pipelines and architectures in Azure. Data Integration: Build and maintain ETL processes to integrate various data sources, such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Synapse Analytics. Cloud Infrastructure: Manage cloud data platforms and infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. Data Management: Implement data storage solutions like Azure Data Lake and Azure SQL Database. Optimization & Monitoring: Continuously optimize performance, troubleshoot issues, and monitor the health of data pipelines. Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams including data scientists, business analysts, and other stakeholders to implement robust data models. Data Governance & Security: Ensure all solutions comply with governance, security, and compliance standards, especially regarding sensitive and classified data. Required Skills and Experience: Active DV Clearance (Mandatory). Proven experience in data engineering roles with a focus on Microsoft Azure services. Proficiency with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, and Data Lake Storage. Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, or Scala for data manipulation and transformation. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation using tools like Azure DevOps. Knowledge of Data Governance, Data Privacy, and best practices for managing sensitive data in a highly regulated environment. Familiarity with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
