Job Description

Are you passionate about websites and CRM, and looking to grow your technical skills whilst managing a diverse portfolio of websites for some of the most innovative B2B tech companies?

If so we'd love to speak to you! More details about the role are below -

Who are we

We’re a fast growing B2B creative agency in London. We create websites, digital marketing and CRM campaigns. We’re working with a variety of B2B clients including Bright Network, Nyobolt, MyTutor, ACCA and Rightship, with more clients coming on board over the coming months too.

We’re based in Shoreditch, and as we're a small but growing team we'd like you to be in the office with us 4 days a week, so this role would suit London-based candidates best. We're a sociable team that enjoys drinks and lunches with clients, plus our partner agency who are based in Shoreditch too.

The journey we’re on

We’re a new agency, but backed by the well-established Consider Group, giving us autonomy combined with financial stability as we grow. This is our 6th year in business, and have seen strong results, bringing new clients on board as well as nurturing relationships with existing ones. We want to bring an enthusiastic, collaborative, highly motivated Technical Manager on board, to increase the capacity of our team and ensure we continue to deliver high quality, well-managed projects for our clients. This role is a critical hire to the business, to help us realise our growth plans and provide opportunities for the successful candidate to grow with the business.

Shape the agency’s processes as we grow

Input into the agency’s future planning and org chart

Longer term, you’ll help build and shape the agency’s technical operations team

The work you do will have a genuine impact on the culture, growth and success of Exemplify

What will you be doing?

This is a highly varied role, and whilst experience in the following areas is desirable, training will be provided for areas where you don’t yet have experience, so it’s an ideal opportunity for a passionate self-starter looking to develop their skills.

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Managing a diverse portfolio of websites for a variety of clients, keeping them up to date, secure and performing well
  • Collecting and communicating project technical requirements and owning development briefs for new website build projects
  • Reviewing and critiquing UX and UI designs to ensure alignment with current marketing best practice
  • Finding innovative solutions to technical challenges and working with creatives to help bring their ideas to life. Recent examples include AR, personalised and interactive videos - all used as part of campaigns for our clients
  • Deploying code updates and CMS configuration updates for adding new website features and functionality
  • Setting up email and landing page templates, automation workflows and tracking in a variety of CRM platforms
  • Working closely with the Managing Director to ensure technical best practice guidelines are followed
  • Training clients on editing the websites we build, and acting as a key contact for client technical support queries

What we’re looking for

This is a critical third permanent hire for Exemplify, and a role which will allow you to grow with the business. Therefore we need an experienced candidate with a strong interest in marketing and web development. Experience with Wordpress / Drupal CMS, Google Analytics and HubSpot CRM platforms would be advantageous.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years’ agency experience or more, but we’d be open to meeting Graduates who are passionate about Marketing and Tech, and candidates from client-side roles too.

  • You’ll have a passion for business, bringing insight and perspective
  • You’ll enjoy working with a variety of talented people, including creatives, developers and strategists
  • You’ll have very strong interpersonal skills, allowing you to communicate technical concepts to stakeholders with varying levels of technical expertise
