Job Title: ServiceNow Integration Developer (SC Cleared) Location: Remote Duration: 6 Months (with potential for extension) Clearance Required: SC Clearance Rate: Market Rate (PAYE through Umbrella) Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Service Integration Developer with active SC clearance to join our team on a remote basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux, extensive experience working with multiple APIs, and solid database skills. You will be responsible for integrating various services and ensuring seamless communication between systems in a secure and efficient manner. Key Responsibilities: Develop, integrate, and maintain multiple APIs (over 90), ensuring robust and efficient data exchange between systems. Work extensively with Linux-based environments to deploy, manage, and troubleshoot integrations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement service integrations that meet business and security requirements. Perform database development and maintenance tasks, including data modeling, optimization, and query tuning. Develop and maintain technical documentation for integration processes, ensuring clarity and consistency. Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. Work within a secure environment, adhering to best practices and compliance standards related to SC clearance. Key Skills and Experience: SC Clearance: Must hold current SC clearance. Linux Proficiency: Extensive experience working in Linux environments, including shell scripting and system administration tasks. API Development: Proven track record of working with a high volume of APIs (over 90), including RESTful and SOAP APIs. Database Skills: Experience with database management, including SQL, data modeling, and query optimization. Integration Tools: Familiarity with integration tools and middleware (e.g., MuleSoft, Apache Camel, or similar). Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues. Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Skills: Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related integration challenges.
