Grounds Maintenance Operative - Must drive

We are currently seeking an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team in a mobile role, maintaining domestic and commercial sites across the region. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity, with the potential for a long-term career for the right candidate.

As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and presentation of outdoor spaces, including gardens, parks, lawns, and commercial landscapes. You must be able to work independently, travelling to multiple sites as required, and maintain high standards of service.

• Perform routine grounds maintenance tasks such as grass cutting, hedge trimming, weeding, pruning, leaf clearance, and litter picking.
• Ensure all landscaped areas are well-kept and presentable.
• Operate and maintain a variety of tools and machinery, including lawn mowers, strimmers, hedge cutters, and leaf blowers.
• Perform basic horticultural tasks such as planting, turfing, and mulching.
• Conduct minor repairs to garden structures or fixtures as needed.
• Ensure all health and safety protocols are followed while working on-site.
• Travel to and from domestic and commercial properties in a company-provided van.
• Carry out any other grounds maintenance duties as assigned by the supervisor.
