Jira Administrator Manchester, Cheltenham or London We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Jira Administrator to manage and optimize our Jira Service Management, Jira Software, and Confluence environments. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the Atlassian suite, be proficient in customising workflows, automating processes, and ensuring that our Jira and Confluence environments are operating efficiently. You will work closely with various teams to ensure that the tools support our business needs effectively. What we are looking for in you Jira Service Management (JSM) Administration: Configure and manage JSM projects (incidents, problems, change requests). Set up and manage SLAs, queues, and workflows. Customize the customer portal and integrate with Confluence for knowledge bases. Automate processes and monitor performance for optimal operations. Jira Software Administration: Administer Jira Software for Agile project management (Scrum/Kanban). Customize workflows, boards, issue types, and sprint management. Create reports, dashboards, and metrics for project tracking. Integrate Jira with development tools like Git, Bitbucket, and CI/CD pipelines. Confluence Administration: Manage Confluence spaces for team collaboration and documentation. Set up permissions, organize content, and develop templates. Link Confluence with Jira for seamless collaboration on projects and tasks. Maintain and optimize the knowledge base for self-service support. Customization, Automation, and Integration: Create custom workflows, fields, and issue types across Jira platforms. Automate repetitive tasks and optimize workflows using Jira Automation and tools like ScriptRunner. Integrate Jira and Confluence with other third-party systems to enhance productivity. Governance, Security, and Compliance: Manage user access, permissions, and roles in both Jira and Confluence. Ensure security best practices, compliance, and data integrity across platforms. Training and Continuous Improvement: Provide end-user training and ongoing support. Identify and implement improvements to optimize platform use and performance. Minimum Requirements 3+ years of experience managing Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and ITIL frameworks. Proficiency in Jira Automation, JQL, ScriptRunner and integration with third party tools. Experience with customising workflows, dashboards, and project templates. Desirable Requirements Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. ITIL Foundation Certification; advanced ITIL certifications are a plus .
