Aquent is helping our software vendor client look for a Systems Administrator to join their Marketing Technology team. As a Systems Administrator with expertise in AWS, you will play a critical role in managing, monitoring, and maintaining their cloud infrastructure. You will be contributing to the overall stability, performance, and security of their environment.The Marketing Technology team operates as the implementer and stewards of the technology that equips our client's Marketing team. Their work impacts workmates and the public alike, and ranges from traditional engineering challenges to broad, multi-organisational problem-solving efforts. The team seek excellence in all that they do, ensuring that their solutions are not only effective externally - but also empower the marketers who use them.This is a 12-month contract role scheduled to start in September 2024. Our client operates on a hybrid model where you’ll be required to work onsite in their Central London office 2-3 days per week. The role offers an attractive rate of between £40.87 - £46.47 per hour, equivalent to £85,009 - £96,657 per annum, pro rata (depending on experience), and comes with up to 37 days of holiday per annum, pro rata, inclusive of 9 bank holidays. Minimum Requirements:Proven experience managing and maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2 instances, VPCs, S3 buckets, CloudFront and other relevant servicesAble to monitor system performance, availability, and security, proactively identifying and addressing any issues or bottlenecksProficient in using the terminal for system administration tasks, system monitoring, and troubleshootingDevelop and maintain documentation, including standard operating procedures, system configurations, and disaster recovery plansAvailable for On-Call rotation for system outages, incidents, and other technical issuesCollaborate with engineering and QA teams to assess support requests, project work, and implement best practices?Other qualifications:Experience with infrastructure, tools and supporting ecosystem. Such as Tomcat, Jetty, Apache, Maven, Nexus, Jenkins, Elasticsearch etc.Experience with AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) and it's architectureExperience with development tools and task-runners (Webpack, Parcel etc.)Experience with Git or alternative version control systems and standard methodologiesExperience in troubleshooting and resolving issues with Docker containersAgile development practicesWorking Jira, or other task/bug tracking systemsWe’d love you to apply for this Systems Administrator role, so please submit your CV today!**This role is open for a limited time.
