Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven On-Trade Sales Executive with a passion for the wine industry to join our growing team. This role will focus on new business development in London and the South East, targeting premium on-trade establishments such as independent restaurants, wine bars, and national accounts. The successful candidate will work closely with our London-based wholesalers to support their sales efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the on-trade sector, both directly and in collaboration with our wholesale partners.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target accounts to drive sales and increase market share.
- Conduct wine tastings, product presentations, and other promotional activities to generate interest in our wine portfolio.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute sales strategies and promotional initiatives tailored to the on-trade sector.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market intelligence to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs, contributing to the overall growth and success of the business.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 4-5 years of experience in drinks sales, preferably in the wine industry.
- Strong knowledge of the UK on-trade market, including independent restaurants, wine bars, and national accounts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish long-lasting relationships with clients.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving new business growth.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently, managing your own workload effectively.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
