Actio Engineering Recruitment are delighted to be assisting our Durham based client with their search for a CNC Cylindrical Grinder. Our client is a forward-thinking business and a subcontract manufacturer who produce components for a variety of different industries including Aerospace, Defence and Oil & Gas. The Role • Program, set and operate CNC Cylindrical Grinders with Studer controls • Ensure machines are running smoothly and efficiently. • Use of gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements. • Maintain a clean, neat and tidy work area About You • Excellent knowledge of Studer Grinders (External & Internal grinding) • Ability to read / interpret engineering drawings • Experience of grinding wheel and tool selection with dressing techniques • Experience working to tight tolerances • Thread and Profile grinding experience Shift Rotating Shifts of Mornings and Afternoons. Mornings – Monday to Thursday – 6am to 2pm, Friday 6am to 12pm Afternoons – Monday to Thursday – 2pm to 11:24pm, No Friday Pay Up to £18p/h + 20% shift allowance (£21.60p/h) – Overtime available when required What Next?
