The Senior Fire Engineer Role
The successful Senior Fire Engineer will work directly alongside the Head of Fire Engineering. This role requires self-management of projects of various sizes and sectors, managing a team, and mentoring graduates and fire engineers. The business maintains key relationships with companies in the commercial, hi-rise, and residential sectors, ensuring compliance with all fire regulations and requirements, as well as staying abreast of future changes.
Responsibilities:
- Fire Strategy Design
- Review, Inspect, Implement & Test
- Understand detection, suppression, on-site experience, strategy design, and testing
Key Requirements:
- Ideally with a design consultancy or risk background
- Chartered engineer in fire or working towards this status
- Degree in Fire Engineering, structural engineering, or a related discipline
- Experience in leading client-facing meetings
- Clear experience in the residential and commercial sectors
- Experience with business development
