Assistant Site Manager - Required ASAP

We are recruiting for an Assistant Site Manager to join our growing Property Services team. The role is based in Colindale , Barnet and will be part of our team carrying out Energy Improvement Measures as part of our Retro Fit works. You will require previous experience of a site based role. Duties include Assist the Site Manager to ensure the programme is delivered on time Liaise with Site Manager & Project Surveyor from commencement and ensure you understand programme and are aware of any potential problems. Ensure all subcontractors adhere to Contract Programme and engage with subcontractors where delays are occurring. Inform Site Manager & Project surveyor of any continuing performance issues of subcontractors. Ensure Company Buyer is aware of any lead-in materials and they are ordered in good time. Attend regular progress meeting with project team & sub-contractors. Health & Safety Carry out inductions and ensure all subcontractors are made aware of QLL Safety Requirements and enforce these i.e. CSCS Cards & Method Statements prior to start on site. Ensure scaffold and hoists are regularly checked by a competent person. Assist the Site Manager to ensure all paperwork is stored in the correct place. Ensure Welfare facilities are properly maintained, serviced & clean. Control of Site Costs, Labour & Quality Control Record items on the allocation sheets or CVI forms where contra-charges arise, record times, dates and details. Ensure Project Surveyor is informed. Control all QLL site Labour, ensure quality of workmanship & ensure no excess labour is on site. Ensure site is secure at all times and perimeter fencing kept in tidy manner and all signage posted. Ensure that plant is off-hired at earliest opportunity. Assist Site Manager in snagging subcontractors work. Competitive Salary + Benefits
