The Role: As a Pre-Construction Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving the initial stages of our projects, overseeing pre-construction planning, budget management, and bid coordination to ensure smooth and successful project launches. Working closely with our design and project teams, you will utilize your expertise in Cat B projects to lead the planning process from concept through to handover to construction. Key Responsibilities: * Lead pre-construction activities on Cat B design and build projects, ensuring comprehensive planning and cost management. * Develop and coordinate project budgets, timelines, and construction strategies. * Collaborate with clients, design teams, and stakeholders to deliver tailored project solutions that meet expectations and requirements. * Drive value engineering initiatives and identify potential risks during the pre-construction phase. * Assist in bid and tender preparation, including assessing technical submissions and providing cost estimates. About You: We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional with: * Proven experience as a Pre-Construction Manager within a main contractor environment. * Strong background in Cat B design and build projects, with a successful track record in managing pre-construction phases. * Comprehensive knowledge of London’s construction landscape and project-specific challenges. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills. * Ability to work well under pressure, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
