As the Junior Designer you will be working to proactively research trends, competitors, and general market influences like social media impacts! This is day to night dressing, feeling your best throughout the day and always being stylish, classic and on trend.

JUNIOR DESIGNER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ability to forecast trends through the use of utilising different platforms i.e, catwalks, shows, social media and streetwear
• Deliver the wider product teams messages around; with key shapes, silhouettes, fabrics, trims and colour palettes for the season
• Back styles and key trend items for the season
• Be passionate about your vision when presenting
• Be inquisitive, always wanting to learn and absorb knowledge from your design peers and seniors
• Monitor the competition on a daily basis
• Understand best selling styles on your departments
• Understand the consumer and design to each consumer profile
• Review fit sessions with your Buyer and Garment Tech
• Contribute to the critical path with making sure initial samples are in head office on time for key meetings
• Work closely with key suppliers for tech packs and sample management
• Attend supplier meetings where possible
