Role & Responsibilities: Translate client business needs into communications action with a solution-oriented focus Own client relationships and work with exceptional organisational and relationship skills Serve as a point for client service, ensuring quality work from the team in order to meet/exceed client expectations Provide overall strategic PR counsel to clients. Ability to provide counsel and strategy for disease awareness and product-related campaigns Demonstrates industry and media knowledge – by understanding healthcare sector trends (global) and media strategy and management (both global and UK media expertise) Overall responsibility for budget management on accounts, stays ahead of budget issues and is proactive in ensuring account profitability Actively participates in new business development, presentations and proposals and identifying prospects Ability to balance strategic thinking with plan execution Strong presentation and interpersonal skills Highly accountable and organised with excellent time management skills Instills confidence and motivates/inspires clients and colleagues Effectively resolves conflict with clients and within teams Experienced people manager Aptitude for thinking creatively and sharing those creative ideas with clients Stays abreast of emerging technology and recognises opportunities to apply the technology to meet client goals Collaborative spirit to work towards the best outcome for clients and the agency Helps lead cultural values; strong, active, advocate of culture Expertise in health care, corporate and product Requirements: 5 years of relevant agency/in-house experience A relevant university degree Extensive experience in healthcare public relations Demonstrated results in public relations work, client service and account leadership Strong writing skills and close attention to detail Passion for both traditional and digital communications healthcarecommunications healthcomms PR medcomms medicalcommunications medicalwriter medicaleducation healthcareadvertising healthcare pharma Senior Account Director – PR Healthcare Communications – London
