Enterprise Architect / Digital Transformation Lead – SME The job Working as an enterprise architect / digital transformation lead your job will be lead a strategic review of a SME’s business technology stack, creating a target state architecture, utilizing the existing technical estate (where feasible), selecting vendors for COTS (where appropriate) and creating the delivery roadmap. A fundamental part of this project is upgrading the clients CRM system , it is essential that this is done carefully as it is the life blood of this business. You will have team to work with including a technical architect/ lead developer, a head of IT/ security consultant, web developers, and a security analyst. You will: Develop the technical strategy. Create a target state architecture. Work with the CEO / board to make decisions on technology matters that align with the business needs. Establish a product management function to support long-term scalability. Evaluate, select and Integrate of COTS solutions. Lead the digital transformation Define the job roles for future technical business Once you have created the roadmap, hired the team needed, you will hand over an internal team to complete the delivery. About you You will be a skilled Solutions / enterprise architect who has proven experience in this kind of job with an SME business. You will have solid experience across back office COTS products including; Finance, HR, CRM and Payments. You will have prior experience leading change / transformation initiatives and have first class stakeholder management skills About the company This is SME business with 100+ employees across a few offices. They work in a very interesting space and are the market leaders. They have recently received some investment and need to modernise their technical stack. The team here are super bright and welcoming. Location Hybrid – London 1-2 days a week (ish) Money £700 -850 per day outside IR35 Why should you work here This is a great challenge, it is almost greenfield, you will have budget to do things and what you will do will make a big difference to how the business operates.
