History Teacher (Maternity Cover) Location: Spilsby Salary Scale: £31,650 - £49,084 per year (Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale) Start Date: January 2025 End Date: July 2025 Contract Type: Long-Term Temporary, Full-Time Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated History Teacher looking for a new opportunity? GSL Education Lincoln is currently recruiting a History Teacher for maternity cover to work across a forward-thinking school in Spilsby. We are seeking an inspiring and passionate educator who will engage and motivate students to develop a love for history while ensuring continuity in their education during this maternity cover period. History Teacher role: The successful History Teacher will be part of a supportive and collaborative team, responsible for delivering engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, while also ensuring that students achieve excellent outcomes in the subject. You will work closely with the History department to ensure that high standards of teaching and learning are maintained. The successful candidate will: Have UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Have experience teaching History at KS3 and KS4 Be able to plan and deliver high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge students Have excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to student progress Be adaptable and able to manage the demands of covering maternity leave Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks, including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or completing an application for a new check.
