Energy Assessor - Leicestershire Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 CTJ61 Are you passionate about energy efficiency and sustainability? Do you hold an OCDEA or a NDEA accreditation and are eager to make a meaningful impact? We are currently recruiting for an Energy and Sustainability Consultant for a small firm based in Leicestershire. About the Role: As an Energy Assessor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting a diverse range of clients to achieve their sustainability goals. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working from home combined with the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues and clients on-site when required. Key Responsibilities: Conduct energy assessments and produce SAP calculations for residential developments. Provide expert advice on building regulations, energy efficiency, and sustainable construction practices. Engage with clients to deliver tailored sustainability strategies and solutions. Prepare energy and sustainability reports to ensure compliance with current standards, including Part L and Part O. Collaborate with the design and construction teams to integrate energy-efficient designs. Stay up to date with evolving regulations and best practices within the sustainability sectorRequirements: Ideally you will hold either an OCDEA or NDEA accreditation Strong knowledge of UK building regulations, including Part L and Part O. Experience using IES software for building performance and energy modelling. Experience with SAP calculations and the ability to work with various software tools.
