Manufacturing Team Leader

Job Title: Team Leader (Manufacturing) Location: Wakefield Salary: £28,000 per annum Shifts: Monday - Friday Our client, an award-winning manufacturer, is looking for a Manufacturing Team Leader to work at their facility based in Wakefield. The successful Candidate will play a vital role in overseeing daily operations on the production floor, ensuring that manufacturing processes are efficient, meet safety and quality standards, and are completed on time. The Role: Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of production workers, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and high performance. Monitor H&S on production floor. Ensure that products meet quality standards by monitoring production processes and conducting regular quality checks. Assist with production planning. Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions to increase productivity and efficiency on the production floor. Provide hands on support. Collaborate with other departments to ensure materials are available as needed and that finished products are correctly documented and stored. The candidate: Previous experience in a team leader/supervisor role would be an advantage A good knowledge of mechanical/electrical processes Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety protocols, and quality standards.
