Salary: Main/Upper pay scale - dependent on experience
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join our vibrant school community in Accrington. This role has become available following the resignation of a valued member of our teaching staff and will last until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of a permanent contract for the right candidate.
About The School: The school have a high number of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), we strive to ensure that every child receives the support they need to thrive. We pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative and supportive atmosphere for both staff and students.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum. Provide tailored support for children with additional needs, ensuring they have equal access to learning. Implement effective behaviour management strategies to create a positive classroom environment. Work closely with parents, support staff, and external agencies to meet the diverse needs of all students. Foster a love of learning and encourage curiosity and creativity among pupils.Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in Key Stage 2. Strong background in supporting children with SEN and a deep understanding of various learning difficulties. Excellent behaviour management skills and the ability to create an inclusive classroom. A collaborative team player who is committed to professional development and lifelong learning. Passionate about making a positive impact on children's education and well-being.What We Offer:
