SME Finance Director

Finance Director (SME) Derby Permanent £ Dependant on Experience A well-established SME based in Derby are looking to make their first Senior Finance hire into the business, who can implement robust financial processes and controls from scratch, but also work and contribute towards business strategy. Responsibilities: Overseeing the day to day running of the finance function Reviewing all current processes and procedures, implementing new financial processes and controls for maximum business efficiency and cost savings Reviewing working capital and cash flow Cost savings within the business to maximise profit Reviewing and implementing new processes for transactional finance activities within the business Full responsibility of all financial related activities within the businessThe ideal candidate will have the following skills, experience and attributes: Experience within a very similar role - ideally having been an SME businesses first senior finance hire previously Qualified - ACCA/ ACA or CIMA - may consider QBE Robust and well-rounded finance experience Works well using their own initiative, good decision-making skills Strategic and commercial mindset Confident in own abilitiesIn return, you will receive a competitive salary dependant on experience and generous company benefits.
