What you'll be doing;
Assist the Shift Team Leader (STL) in safe and efficient operation of the plant
Oversee deliveries
Operate plant and equipment eg forklift truck and refuse cranes
Follow the VMR Toolkit, ERF Safety Rules and Environmental Permit(s)
Routine plant inspections and monitoring e.g. pressures, temperatures, levels, etc.
Monitoring of contractors/third party working
Operate forklift to move equipment, bins and skips when required
Work as a team
Stay in contact with the team on 2 way radio
Reporting close calls, accident and incidents in AVA
Check all equipment and machinery before using and report defects
Monitor consumables such as acid, ammonia, carbon, lime.
Recording data in the assistant log
Stop the job if it's unsafe, report to line manager

Experienced in working in a role in an operational environment
Team working
Relevant yellow plant ticket/license
