ABC Teachers is seeking a passionate Learning Support Assistant to join the vibrant learning environment of a SEND school in the heart of Shrewsbury.
Role Overview
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be instrumental in providing personalized support to students, both individually and in small groups. Your primary focus will be on fostering a student-centered approach to learning, assisting with classroom activities, and ensuring each student's unique needs are met.
Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with teachers to deliver effective classroom support, adapting to the diverse needs of students. Cultivate an inclusive atmosphere that empowers students to reach their full potential. This is a full-time, ongoing position, with immediate openings as well as January 2025 starts. About the School

About You
To qualify for the Teaching Assistant role, you should:
Demonstrate the ability to build strong rapport with students, fostering a positive learning environment. Have previous experience working with children and young individuals with SEND. Possess excellent communication and behavior management skills. Be willing to provide suitable references and undergo a DBS check.
