Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - Days Mon to Fri Competitive salary package £37-40k + fantastic pension & benefits Our client are a leading global FMCG company who boast a number of top brands under their product range. We are recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join their packaging plant based in Belfast, working on days Monday to Friday 7am-4pm. You'll be working in a very modern, clean and highly automated production setting. Suitable candidates will need to be Level 3/ HNC qualified Engineering, with proven maintenance experience in production settings, preferably FMCG high speed automated equipment. The Role Mechanical maintenance and repairs on a range of production machinery Ensure equipment is maintained to a high standard and runs at high performance Fault finding and problem solving technical issues Preventative and reactive maintenance Work with conveying systems, high speed packaging and automated machinery Work on Mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems Welding, fitting and mechanical repairs Update CMMS system and record accurately Work in a safe and effective manner, sticking to hygiene policy What we are looking for HNC or Level 3 apprenticeship Engineering Proven maintenance experience in a production/ FMCG setting Strong mechanical knowledge on production equipment Experience working with automated, high speed machinery Can fault find and trouble shoot effectively Multi-skilled/ Mechatronic knowledge of other systems - electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic Interested?
