This is a critical position within the production team working on dynamic challenges and varied projects where you will have a tangible effect on the efficiency of Rotork’s production.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, this role is to ensure the continuous improvements of engineering tasks and processes during a transformational period of developments and efficiency gains within the Bath factory.

In the Manufacturing Engineer role you will manage the creation of new test applications required for new products, be accountable for source code control, testing and release and set tasks and monitor progress of a small team of Software and Hardware Engineers.

This role would suit a proactive candidate who is motivated in problem solving and driving solutions forwards. You must be a team player with the ability to work independently and have an analytical mind with an eye for detail.


Experience Requirements:

  • Experience creating test programs in NI LabVIEW.
  • Experience managing projects or small teams.
  • Familiar with project management software such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
  • Familiar with SQL databases.

  • Is approachable and able to communicate effectively
  • Happy to work as part of a team as well as unsupervised
  • Organised with a keen eye for detail
