Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) Wimbledon Location: Wimbledon, London Salary: £55,000 - £68,000 per annum (depending on experience) Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time available A well-established healthcare centre in Wimbledon is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join their multidisciplinary team. About the Practice : Located in the heart of Wimbledon, this modern healthcare centre offers a wide range of services to the local community. The practice is known for its patient-centred approach and commitment to high-quality, accessible healthcare. The successful candidate will work alongside a skilled team of GPs, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals in a collaborative and friendly setting. Role and Responsibilities The Advanced Nurse Practitioner will work autonomously, delivering expert care to patients with both acute and chronic conditions. Key responsibilities include: Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and making informed clinical decisions based on evidence-based practice. Prescribing medications and treatments within the scope of their practice. Managing long-term conditions, such as diabetes, hypertension, and respiratory illnesses. Leading minor illness clinics and urgent care sessions. Providing health promotion, education, and advice to patients. Collaborating with GPs and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless continuity of care. Participating in quality improvement initiatives and supporting clinical governance. Requirements The ideal candidate will have: Registered Nurse (RN) with active NMC registration. MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent qualification. Independent Prescribing Qualification (V300). Substantial experience in primary or urgent care settings. Strong clinical skills and the ability to work autonomously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A commitment to delivering patient-centred care and continuous professional development. Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience.
