The Procurement Manager is responsible for optimizing Coremont’s cost across its 3rd party vendor landscape, and the effective management of these vendors / vendor contracts. Tasks include sourcing, negotiation and vendor relationship management. Role will work closely with technology, finance, market data, and legal, and will need to influence senior business leaders across the organisation so strong communication and consistency in approach, alongside excellent stakeholder engagement skills are important. Cloud providers, hardware and software vendors, IT resellers, telephony & networks and data-centres) is essential. Experience in working with Market data providers is highly beneficial. The role requires a strong understanding of financial data, and analytical rigor. Circa 5+ years experience in a Procurement role for a financial markets aligned business. Extensive experience of Technology procurement is essential. Experience working with market data providers would be highly beneficial. Extensive experience of contract negotiation and cost optimisation. Experience of working in a fast paced financial services environment. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
