We have partnered with a leading asset management firm who has a strong commitment to helping charitable organisations manage and grow their financial resources. Their specialised team provides investment expertise and tailored solutions to support the unique goals of charities & foundations.
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Client Director to join their team and contribute to their mission of making a positive impact in the charitable sector.
The Role:
As a Client Director, you will be the key point of contact for their charity clients, responsible for managing and nurturing existing relationships while also driving business development to cultivate new ones. You will work closely with their investment team to ensure their clients receive the highest level of service and advice, tailored to their specific needs and objectives. This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of both the asset management landscape and the unique challenges faced by the charity sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
- Manage and maintain strong relationships with existing charity clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Provide tailored investment advice and insights, aligning with clients' strategic goals and fiduciary responsibilities.
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue opportunities to grow their portfolio of charity clients through proactive outreach and networking.
- Develop new relationships with key decision-makers within charities, foundations, and non-profits.
Strategic Advice & Support:
- Collaborate with internal investment teams to deliver bespoke solutions and provide strategic input on portfolio management.
- Stay informed on regulatory changes, market trends, and best practices relevant to the charities sector.
- Discuss with individual clients their investment strategy and asset allocation as appropriate, covering execution only clients and those with discretionary investment management agreements. This would include prompting clients as necessary to ensure that their strategy remains under regular review.
Client Advocacy:
- Act as the voice of the client internally, ensuring their needs are prioritised and addressed across the organisation.
- Deliver presentations and reports to clients, articulating our value proposition and the impact of our solutions on their financial outcomes.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in client relationship management within asset management, ideally with exposure to the charitable or non-profit sector.
- Strong business development skills with a track record of growing a client base.
- Deep understanding of investment strategies and financial products tailored to the unique needs of charity clients.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for making a positive impact within the charitable sector.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver exceptional client outcomes.
- CISI Private Client Investment Advice and Management Certificate (Level 6 Qualification)
