Finance Manager

Finance Manager Birmingham City Centre £40,000 - £50,000 p/a Bell Cornwall Recruitment are delighted to be working with a well-established but growing design company based in Birmingham city centre. They are looking for an experienced finance professional to join their finance function as a Finance Manager. Duties and responsibilities of a Finance Manager in this role include (but are not limited to): Prepare monthly management accounts, ensuring Balance Sheet accounts are fully reconciled, including fixed assets, accruals and prepayments, to identify & correct material errors. Develop existing & new reporting in line with business needs, with a specific focus on project profitability. Prepare annual budget and monthly profit forecast. Monitoring cash flow forecast, incorporating any upcoming changes. Line management of junior finance team and payroll processing. The successful candidate will: ACCA/CIMA finalist or qualified. Experience preparing monthly management accounts. Experience of month-end processes: balance sheet reconciliations, prepayments and accruals. Strong IT and excel skills (VLOOKUPS and pivot tables essential). Good communication skills and high level analytical skills.
