Field Service Engineer - Barnsley £35.000 - £40000 Our client works with prestigious brands such as Case Construction, Terex Ecotec, and Keestrack, we deliver our customers' requirements for all their Earthmoving and Recycling needs. The client has heavily invested in the company opening new sites. Reporting to the Service & Warranty Manager. Duties: Travelling to and working at customer sites servicing and resolving problems on heavy plant. Liaising with service team and technical support to solve problems, order parts. Completion and submissions of reports and hours Knowledge: Extensive knowledge on a variety of heavy plant including: Wheeled Loaders Excavators Track Loaders Shredders Screens Waste Handlers Knowledge of the following brands would be advantageous: Case Construction Equipment, Terex Ecotec, Keestrack Competency & Understanding: Competent with reading/understanding hydraulic and electrical schematics Understanding of in engine aftertreatment systems, SCR, DPF Good understanding of electrical circuits Good problem solving and diagnostic skills Good IT skills Good literacy skills Good Communications skills Qualifications: Driving License Apprentice NVQ level 3 plant maintenance or similar Quarry passport Passport to safety Air conditioning The Person: Must be comfortable working as part of a team and on own initiative Must be flexible with working hours when required (possible late nights or weekend work) The Package: Basic Working Hours - (Apply online only) / 40 hours per week Opportunities for overtime as and when required Competitive rates of pay dependent on skills and experience Holiday entitlement - 32 days Potential EOT tax-free bonus BUPA Health Benefit Scheme Pension Scheme Life Assurance and associated benefits Birthday Leave Holiday Buy Back Sick Pay Cycle to Work Scheme At Adept Resourcing - Commercial & Engineering, we specialise in connecting companies with top talent that drives innovation, growth and success.
