Job Title: Arboriculture Team Leader Location: Salford, UK Salary: Competitive, based on experience Job Type: Full-Time, Temporary - Permanent About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Arboriculture Team Leader to manage the maintenance of tree stocks for one of our valued social housing clients. Your work will ensure that outdoor spaces are safe, healthy, and visually appealing for residents. As a key leader, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of arborists while ensuring that all works are performed in line with health and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and efficiently control the arboriculture team, including agency workers and apprentices, to deliver high-quality tree maintenance. Perform arboriculture maintenance tasks as required by schedules and seasonal demands, ensuring adherence to best practices. Ensure all machinery and vehicles are properly checked, maintained, and operated according to safety guidelines. Maintain and update necessary records and reports, ensuring compliance with client and organizational targets. Collaborate with team members and liaise with the wider organization to ensure a comprehensive arboriculture service. Take action in emergencies to ensure the safety of individuals and the surrounding environment. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in arboriculture operations.About You: Relevant qualifications in Arboriculture (CS30, CS31, CS32, CS38, CS39). A full, clean driving license is required. Experience in stump grinding, chipper operation, and tree rigging is advantageous. Experience working within the social housing sector is desirable. Strong understanding of Health and Safety regulations and practices. Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and manage a team.
