Religious Studies Teacher (RE)

Religious Studies Teacher Location: Trafford Contract Dates: 4th November- 20th December (with potential to extend to 2025.) Pay: £150 - £190 per day (depending on experience) Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:00pm An excellent and popular secondary school in Trafford are seeking a dedicated and passionate Religious Education (RE) Teacher to join their team for the Autumn Term with possible extension into 2025. This is a full-time role with the opportunity to teach Religious Studies up to KS4 (GCSE Level) and potentially lead to a permanent position for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and effective Religious Education (RE) lessons to students from KS3 to KS5. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and success. Demonstrate strong classroom management and maintain high expectations for student behaviour and progress. Work collaboratively with the Humanities department to contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK. Proven experience teaching RE and Humanities up to GCSE at secondary school level, with a passion for the subject. Excellent communication and organisational skills. A valid DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one. Availability to work full-time from Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:00pm, for the duration of the contract.Interviews will be held in the next week so early applications are encouraged.
