Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: South East England, Surrey, SuttonJob Role: Immediate start Primary Industry: Education and TrainingSalary: £450 - £480 Per week, benefits include PAYEJob Description: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in a classroom setting. Your duties will include:Job Duties: Assisting the teacher in implementing individual education plans for students with SENSupporting students with their learning and developmentHelping to create a positive and inclusive learning environmentProviding one-to-one support to students as requiredAssisting with classroom management and behaviour strategiesCollaborating with other staff members and professionals to support student progress Required Qualifications: Minimum of GCSEs in English and MathsRelevant experience working with children or young people with SENStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a team Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills: Experience working as support workerKnowledge of SEN and different learning needsAbility to adapt and respond to individual student requirementsPatience, empathy, and understanding towards students with SEN Preferred Qualifications: Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in SchoolsDiploma in Health and Social careTraining in Manual Handling and SafeguardingFirst Aid certification Working Conditions: Full-time position, working hours may varyClassroom-based environmentOpportunity for professional development and training All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
