Interim Finance ManagerLocation: Plymouth Area Hours: 37 hours per week Rate: £200 - £350 per day (depending on experience) Start Date: ASAP - likely to be up to 6 months Working Arrangement: Hybrid working available About the Role:Hays Senior Finance are seeking an experienced Interim Finance Manager to join a small but dynamic charity in the Plymouth area. This role is pivotal in ensuring the financial health and sustainability of the organisation, which has an annual turnover of £2 million to £3 million. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all financial operations and ensure accurate financial reporting. Manage the charity's budget, forecasts, and financial planning. Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and charity-specific requirements. Work closely with the Administrator, Assistant Administrator, and Finance Assistant to support the organisation's financial needs. Provide strategic financial advice to the senior management team and trustees. About You: Proven experience in a similar finance management role, preferably within the charity sector. Strong knowledge of financial regulations and charity accounting standards. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a small team. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite. Benefits: Competitive daily rate of £200 - £350, depending on experience.
