We are proud to be supporting one of the regions largest education providers with the appointment of a Finance Manager to their busy finance function.
Working independently but as an extension of a larger centralised team, you will be responsible for the full financial management of a £3.5million budget as well as the provision of financial support and information for the wider organisation.
In an enviroment where each and every £ must be accounted for and used efficiently, you will ensure the financial management is sound and procedures are strictly adhered to.
As a Finance Manager, duties will include but are not limited to:
- Oversee all financial transactions - Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Petty Cash, Expenses and Banking
- Management of 2 direct reports
- Full monthly management accounts inc reconciliations
- Variance Analysis (actuals to budget)
- Short term and long term forecasting
- Costing and financial oversight of projects/business cases
- Year end accounts and support in the audit
- Evaluation of SLAs and contracts to ensure best value for service

You must be AAT qualified as a minimum but this position would also suit someone with demonstrable management accounts experience who may be part CIMA/ACCA or recently qualified.
