We are now looking for a Business Architect to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working 37.5 hours per week with hybrid working (up to four days remotely per week). The Role As a Business Architect, you will support a range of change and transformation initiatives for our business through your business architecture expertise. Specifically, you will interpret and contextualise the business strategy, developing artifacts such as business capability models and value streams, and ensuring that strategic goals align within the broader business architecture context. Providing business architecture services and artifacts, you will conduct process gap analyses, value stream analyses and capability maturity modelling. You will also develop and implement a common Business Architecture Framework across the UK business landscape and mediate communication between business requirements and design phases. Additionally, you will: - Collaborate with IT infrastructure owners to create a cohesive business IT landscape - Partner with Solutions Infrastructure architects and the Security Team to ensure alignment and compliance - Stay informed on technological advancements and recommend their utilisation - Propose enhancements to existing Business Architecture and identify areas for process improvement - Establish governance protocols and maintain comprehensive documentation About You To be considered as a Business Architect, you will need: - Experience as a Business Architect or Business Analyst - Proficiency in Enterprise Architecture (EA) modelling languages such as Archimate and/or TOGAF - A strong background in logistics and experience with warehouse management operations and systems - Strong analytical skills - An undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification or experience The closing date for this role is 18/11/2024.
