Lead Software Engineer

Our client, a growing insurtech company, are looking for a (fully remote) Lead Software Developer to expand the capabilities of their current platform. The role will involve both brown and greenfield development and you will have the opportunity to shape the direction of the product strategically and technically. Working closely with the CTO, in a hands-on capacity, you will be responsible for delivering entire features for the product, and will have a direct impact on its success. This is a highly collaborative role, and you must have strong written and spoken communication skills. To succeed in this position, you must have deep full stack development experience in a .Net environment, and must have led the design and development of products. You will have set technical direction, and will have had previous direct influence on the architecture of products. From a tech perspective the following experience is required: Strong full stack commercial development experience with ASP.NET (C#) and Angular Experience with MongoDB Track record as a TDD practitioner Azure and Infrastructure-as-Code Agile and DevOps best practice Solid understanding of RESTful web services Knowledge of CQRS and Event Sourcing Ideally you will also have an understanding of DDD (Domain Driven Design).
