Join an exceptional team creating AI-powered decision intelligence solutions for critical security conditions. The company is an established giant in the defense and intelligence US market and they're now building a team in the UK to colloborate on a mission critical project.
The project you will be working on utilizes AI and pattern analysis technologies to digest and analyze vast amounts of data in real-time and identify potential prohibited items in carry-on baggage, checked baggage, airline cargo and shipments. The AI-based solution is built to Open Architecture standards and is interoperable with hardware and equipment in a “plug and play” manner, allowing security operations to be transformed quickly through advanced software.
This role will be 1/2x a week in the Heathrow based office with ocassional international travel required.
The ideal skillset of the Lead DevOps Engineer:
- Previous experience leading and managing a team of DevOps engineers
- Overseen the setup and management of CI/CD pipelines across GCP, AWS, and Azure (preference towards AWS)
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and Pulumi, automating infrastructure provisioning.
Knowledge of the following technologies would be a bonus although NOT required:
- Manage virtual environments and cloud hardware resources, including GPU instances, to support high-compute workloads.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deployment and operation of applications, using tools like GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
