You will be working for a premier independent bulk liquid storage provider, offering sustainable solutions for a diverse range of products. With a commitment to energy transition, the company ensures safe operations and continuous product availability.
Your key responsibilities are:
- Acting as Technical Authority for mechanical equipment, particularly rotating machines
- Preparing in-house specifications, procedures, and technical documentation
- Participating in HAZOP, HAZID, and FMEA studies
- Identifying and scoping projects and plant modifications
- Preparing cost estimates and business case proposals for CAPEX
- Specifying and overseeing pump and compressor repairs, ensuring performance and quality
- Managing vendors, tenders, and technical bid evaluations
- Driving utilities savings and ensuring energy efficiency
- Collaborating with maintenance teams on equipment monitoring and corrective works
- Ensuring compliance with regulations: DSEAR, PER, Machinery Directive, PUWER, COMAH, CDM
- Conducting Root Cause Failure Analysis and supporting site commissioning

Essential qualifications and experience:
- Relevant Mechanical Engineering degree or significant project experience
- Extensive experience with rotating equipment
- Experience in a COMAH regulated industry
- Site commissioning and troubleshooting expertise
- Working knowledge of industry regulations and standards (API, EN, EEMUA, ASME)
