HR Business PartnerWorking for highly successful London market insurance broker you will work within a close knit and well regarded HR team. You will work as a trusted partner to the company’s people leaders (and employees). You will be responsible for ensuring high quality operational HR, managing projects, as well as to provide expert advice and guidance on people strategy initiatives to support the achievement of business and functional objectives.You will be looking after a population based both in London and in the Cotswolds.The RoleBuild and maintain positive relationships with the functional leadership teams and other internal and external stakeholdersEmbed People strategy and ensure operational excellence in all people practicesEnsure the functional/departmental priorities are represented in the overall People strategy and that functionally specific people initiatives are supported where relevantAdvise and support leaders and employees to implement People policies and ensure alignment across the organisationTake a lead role in leadership recruitment, compensation and displacement activity to ensure we have the right talent pipeline in place.Consults with leaders on employee issues including disciplinary issues, employee development, retention, compensation philosophy, restructuring and organisational development needs.Fully embed talent management philosophy.Supports leaders in assessing the skills and development needs of emerging leaders.In partnership with our L& D Partner; works with leadership teams to evaluate training needs (at a functional level) and provides support to leaders in developing their learning strategies/priorities.Work with functional leadership teams to embed a high-performance culture.Lead any transformation and change management activityProvide support on any employee engagement activities arising from annual surveyProvide subject matter expertise and project management support in the development and deployment of people initiatives aligned to the business priorities.You should be CIPD qualified with a strong background in business partnering within Insurance/financial services/professional services. You should be able to evidence your ability to build strong and lasting business relationships. You should have a menoring style and be happy to retain hands on involvement with the business and be able to input into the strategic development of HR. You should be able to travel (in UK) to give facetime to all of your population.
