We’re all about personality, we have fun, and we work hard to deliver That Superdrug feeling.Here's the exciting bit…a day includesRole Purpose: ?Working with the Own Brand Commercial team as a Procurement Partner to support, monitor and control new and existing projects and purchases of Own Brand products from suppliers. A typical day in this role includes: ?Ensuring the tender process is followed diligently and, in a manner, aligned to policy from project conception/purchase requirement through quotations/tenders to contracts, contract monitoring and re-tender Ensuring there is clear documentation and evidence of each step in the process of contracting with suppliers Recording and sharing information to ensure an accurate UK contract database and feed into the visibility of upcoming contract expiry dates, break options and potential savings opportunities Supporting Own Brand Commercial team in setting up and running tenders and quotation processes and supplier management Running tenders from initial requirement, market analysis, tender/contract management, implementation, post analysis/lessons learnt while working with subject matter experts from the Own Brand buying teams Adopt appropriate negotiation strategies to attain the best terms for the business Develop build and maintain effective internal and external relationships to meet the business needs Lead and coach a Junior Procurement Buyer to achieve both business and personal development objectives Take responsibility for own personal and professional development.
