Sales Manager

Salary £28K + Bonus Scheme + Private Health Care + Pension My client is a family owned sensory profiling & consumer research company offering a full range of services including Food, Beverage and Household Product Testing, Focus Groups, Surveys & Market Trends. Due to company growth we are looking for an experienced Sales Executive/Manager to join our team in Wirral, to continue the business development of new and existing clients. About the Sales Manager role: The Sales Manager will be responsible for the management of the sales and marketing function within the business. Working independently and with full training from the marketing director, the sales executive will report directly to the directors of the business. The role will incorporate all aspects of sales and elements of company marketing, including telephone sales as well as social media and LinkedIn business promotion. Skills/Experience required for the Sales Manager role: · You must be able to generate new business from calling prospective companies who would be interested in consumer research · Management of own workload to ensure that deadlines are met and standards are achieved · Monitor industry best practices · You will be able to show that you are an effective communicator, have strong attention to detail and have excellent time management · Develop and execute marketing plans and programs, both short and long term, to ensure profit growth and expansion of the company services · Help to expand the company’s social media presence · Willingness to promote, at all times, a pleasant working environment and to work well as part of a small team
