Stand-alone HR Advisor

We are currently working in partnership with a global leader in the manufacturing industry, who are looking to appoint a HR & Training Officer on a full time basis. This will be a full-time position based in the West Midlands, with a salary of £32,000 to £38,000 per annum.The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of employment law and employee relations procedures. The candidate must also hold a current driving license as they will be required to travel for this role. Duties will include (but are not limited to): Being involved in the recruitment process by posting job ads, supporting the hiring process and preparing job descriptionsTraining and managing the onboarding of new employees as well as training current employees on new proceduresReviewing employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance whilst maintaining records Supporting the management with disciplinaries & grievances whilst providing assistance on policies and procedures Identifying training needs and initiatives and coordinating locations and times for the training sessionsExperience required:Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsUp to date knowledge of employment law and employee relations proceduresExcellent time management skillsStrong teamwork abilitiesRewards and Benefits:Employee pension scheme 6%25 days annual leave plus bank holidaysDeath In service insuranceWorking hours:40 hours per week Monday – Friday Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.James Andrews is acting as an employment agency and business in relation to this role.At James Andrews Recruitment Solutions we try to respond to all applications personally, however, due to the high volume of applications this is not always possible.
