Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a growing company specialising in structural steel projects. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, ideally within the structural steel sector, and be proficient in using Strumis software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the financial aspects of multiple structural steel projects
• Ensure cost control and budget management across all project stages
• Prepare valuations, final accounts, and sub-contractor management
• Conduct regular site visits (1 day per week) to monitor project progress
• Negotiate and manage contracts with clients and suppliers
• Collaborate with project managers and teams to ensure successful project delivery

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Quantity Surveying experience, preferably within structural steel
• Proficiency in using Strumis software
• Strong understanding of contracts, valuations, and financial management
• Ability to travel to various sites around London as needed
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
