Group Reporting & Consolidation Advisor | Natural Resources (Oil & Gas) | LondonA joint venture between two of the supermajors in the oil & gas industry, this is an unbelievable opportunity to join a company that is experiencing large growth in the market. Day rate = £400 - £500 (Depending on relevant experience)Office location = Bank, LondonHybrid working - 3 days in office (Initially it will be majority office hours)This role is intended to be an initial 6 month contract, with a move to permanent following after 6 months.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGLead the accounting & financial support by collaborating on delivery of Statutory accounts.Develop and maintain strong relationships with external auditors, supporting the audit process from planning to completion.Participate in the implementation and improvement of financial reporting systems and processes.Support the implementation of new accounting policies and procedures to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.Support in the timely and accurate delivery of quarterly shareholder reporting and addressing additional shareholder requests.QUALIFICATIONSProfessional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA) is required.Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial reporting, with exposure to group reporting activities, preferably with BIG 4 experience.Oil & Gas sector experience is mandatory.In-depth knowledge of IFRS and strong technical accounting skills.Experience with ERP system and ability to develop analytical tools optimizing system reports.Proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and collaborative environment.For more information, apply now.
