Head of Mergers and Acquisitions

We are currently working with a PE-Backed business looking to bolster their M&A capability with a M&A Head

This individual drives the M&A individually process by contributing to the Diligence, Execution and Legal Negotiation.

The ideal candidate for this role will be an individual with 10+ years of experience, a corporate background as well as exposure in a financial advisory (consulting/ investment banking) role. English spoken and written necessary.

Key Accountabilities Include:

• Responsible for M&A funnel identification and acquisition targets in the UK and Europe and initiation of relationships with potential candidates, advisors etc.
• Building and maintaining contacts with external legal and fiscal advisors
• Supporting the CFO in building business cases to support the M&A agendas
• Leading negotiations, supporting the closing and integration
• Ownership of the communication flow to all relevant internal and external stakeholders during the process from the moment of first contact to completion of the acquisition/merger
