Management Accountant

A market leading organisation in Heathrow that has a strong reputation and prides itself on having very low staff turnover is seeking a Management Accountant to join them on a permanent basis. The role will be working closely with and supporting the Finance Director. You will be working from the office 4 days per week and one day per week from home after initial training and hand over. The main responsibilities of the role are: * Monthly actuals * Responsible for closing month end ledgers * Quarterly and annual tax filings * P11d preparation * VAT and corporate tax reporting * Annual Audit preparation and act as one of the points of contact for external auditors * Manage cash reporting, banking and payment processing * Preparation of financial statements * Prepare and post journals * Calculate accruals and prepayments * Intercompany reconciliations * Other ad hoc duties as required The successful Management Accountant will have/be: * Part or fully qualified Management Accountant or someone qualified by experience with advanced level Excel skills * A proven track record within a similar role * Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines * Able to work on your own as well as part of a team Howett Thorpe are acting as a recruitment agency in relation to this role and comply with all relevant UK legislation and do not discriminate on any protected characteristics.
