Job Description


We are seeking a skilled Tableau Developer with active DV clearance to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced data visualizations and dashboards in Tableau, ensuring they meet both business and security requirements. You will work within secure environments, typically for government or defense organizations, to turn data into actionable insights while adhering to strict compliance and security protocols.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Dashboard Development: Design and build interactive, visually compelling dashboards and reports using Tableau.
  • Data Integration: Develop data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources, ensuring accurate and real-time reporting in Tableau.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with business analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into actionable Tableau dashboards.
  • Optimization: Continuously optimize Tableau dashboards for performance and usability, ensuring efficient handling of large datasets.
  • Security & Compliance: Ensure that all data visualizations and dashboards meet strict security and compliance standards, particularly for sensitive or classified data.
  • Data Governance: Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy in reports and visualizations.
  • Training & Documentation: Provide training to end-users and create documentation to ensure proper usage of Tableau dashboards and reports.


Required Skills and Experience:


  • Active DV Clearance (Mandatory).
  • Extensive experience developing and maintaining dashboards using Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
  • Strong understanding of SQL and experience working with relational databases for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Experience with ETL processes, data preparation, and data blending for use in Tableau.
  • Proven ability to work with large, complex datasets and optimize dashboard performance.
  • Familiarity with data governance, security policies, and compliance standards in handling classified data.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
