FI Facilities Management team are excited to be recruiting for an Electrician to join their team in a full time, permanent basis. The right candidate will carry out Electrical T&I, Installation works, Planned Preventative Maintenance, Reactive repairs, and site cover as required.Key Responsibilities1. Ensure that Planned Preventative Maintenance is carried out in line with task schedules and industry best practices.2. Identify any defects found to Line Manager and provide parts list and estimated timescale to carry out remedial works.3. Attend site and carry out reactive repairs as instructed by administration team.4. Always maintain the professional image of FIFM.5. Establish and maintain a good working relationship with all FIFM employees and clients’ representatives.6. Ensure the provision of a Safe & Healthy working environment.Accountabilities1. The post holder does not have any directly reporting staff.2. This post carries no direct budgetary responsibility.Person SpecificationEducation: A good basic education is essential, with good written and spoken English and basic mathematical skills.Recognised technical qualifications.Training:Recognised electrical qualifications,City and Guilds- 2391-52 Inspection and testingCity and Guilds 18th editionEAL Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical Systems and EquipmentIPAFPASMAAsbestos AwarenessHealth and SafetyWorking at heightFirst AidH&S Training / AwarenessExperience:(Essential)Working to Planned Preventative Maintenance Regimes,Installation / maintenance of electrical services,Electrical Testing to BS7671,Fault finding on electrical circuits(Desirable)Experience of general Building Management SystemsKnowledge of lone working requirements,Risk Assessment trained.Use of CAFM AppsAptitudes:Good verbal communication skills at all levels,Good written English skills,Able to acquire and maintain sufficient knowledge of a building’s operation and services.Able to work outside of main discipline.Character:Committed to the delivery of excellent customer service.The ability liaise directly with client FM managers and action their requirements to agreed standards.Able to work under pressure.Able to make sound decisions when needed.Physically fit and able to carry tools and components by hand up to 20kg.Able to ascend / descend vertical access equipment.Able to work at height.A team player.Circumstances:Must be flexible regarding working hours,Must be able to drive considerable distances using a company vehicle,Must be able to occasionally stay away from homeDriving Licence essential.Benefits and Hours25 Holidays per year, plus UK bank holidaysMonday to FridayEmployee Assistance ProgrammeCompany Pension SchemeSick PayTo apply for this position, please click on ‘APPLY’ and attach your most recent CV.
