OVERALL PURPOSE The purpose of this position is to create, lead and execute an effective Sales & Business Development Strategy and partnership strategy across the Continental European markets. The focus is to work toward creating embedded payment solutions for Corporate clients, enterprises, and international trade platforms that add value to their business model and growth. WORKING RELATIONSHIPS As a critical member of the global team, this position will report directly to the General Manager (Europe) and the Global CEO. You’ll partner closely with our Product Management and Marketing local business unit teams to build a cohesive user journey that delivers the right product to the right users, at the right time. The role can be either based in our London or Luxembourg office. PRINCIPAL ELEMENTS & ACCOUNTABILITIES Identify new business opportunities in the European areas - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services, or new ways of reaching existing markets. Develop partnerships to drive revenue growth in key verticals such as for SaaS platforms, Marketplaces and International Trade platforms. Develop market segment share by acquiring and onboarding new customers. Build and maintain a strong lead funnel of high-value customers, pitch PingPong's offerings to CXOs and crack deals with PingPong as the partner of choice to receive global payments and Check-Out options. Generate and achieve monthly region/segment forecasts and exceed targets in areas of number of clients and GMV from our direct business. Explore new business segments and define GTM for the same. Support the project management of new product launches, ensuring compliance with local rules and regulations. Create & articulate compelling value propositions for PingPong services in coordination with the marketing team. Regularly interact across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Develop long-term strategic relationships with key stakeholders. Carry out sales forecasts and analysis to develop the business sales and marketing strategy. EXPERIENCE Relevant experience in managing business Development operations for SaaS platforms, International Trade and Marketplaces across the EU area. 5 years of relevant and progressive work experience in business development, service and/or solution sales, and account management, ideally in the payment service sector, or e-commerce. Have an established network of partners and prospects. Track record of meeting and exceeding business-established goals. Experience in leading complex negotiations with CxOs of large and enterprise accounts. Ability to drive operational excellence through innovative initiatives. Strong understanding of cross-border payments and FX. QUALIFICATIONS Educated with a relevant degree in business, project management, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus. DESIRED TRAITS Customer-centric, analytical, detail-oriented, and have an understanding of the PSP ecosystem for sellers. Analytical mindset with the ability to use data-driven insights to make informed decisions. Ability to work well with both technical and non-technical individuals up and down the organization, capable of absorbing large amounts of information and the ability to distil it down to the essentials. Influence and advise management on necessary changes and execute against the portfolio and set plan. Understanding of regulatory requirements and ability to adapt to global environment. Ability to juggle several projects and shift priorities as needed. Exhibiting a creative and innovative, forward-thinking approach to problem-solving. Ability to stay calm and collected and focus on solving problems. Fluent in English (both written and spoken); Any other language(s) an advantage.
