Job Title: Frontend Engineer (React & TypeScript) Location: London (Hybrid – 3 days a week in-office | 2-days a week working remote) Minimum Experience: 3 years commercial experience in the UK Job Overview: We are looking for a talented Frontend Engineer with strong expertise in React and TypeScript to join our team in a hybrid role, working 3 days a week in our London office, 2-days working remote. You will be responsible for building and maintaining responsive, high-performance web applications, ensuring an exceptional user experience. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of professional experience in frontend development and be comfortable working in a dynamic, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain web applications using React and TypeScript to create scalable, high-quality user interfaces. Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend developers to implement new features and enhance existing ones. Optimize web applications for performance, scalability, and responsiveness. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, adhering to industry best practices. Debug and troubleshoot issues across browsers and devices, ensuring cross-browser compatibility. Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use. Contribute to the development of the team’s coding standards and best practices. Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews in an Agile environment. Must-Have Skills: React.js : Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience developing production-grade applications. TypeScript : Proficient in TypeScript, with an emphasis on writing type-safe, scalable code. JavaScript (ES6+) : Strong understanding of modern JavaScript features and paradigms. HTML5 & CSS3 : Advanced knowledge of creating responsive and accessible web layouts. RESTful APIs : Experience integrating RESTful APIs into frontend applications. Git : Proficiency with Git version control and experience with Git-based workflows.
